When you Arrive in the UK
Kelly Services UK has been established for 30 years and there is a network of over 120 branches nationwide, covering most of the UK. You will need to apply for a National Insurance (NI) number in order to register but Kelly can provide you with a temporary one until you receive your own. Without it you will be emergency taxed and this would be at a higher rate. Any overtax paid will be refunded to you once your NI number has been assigned.
Getting paid
We appreciate that you will probably want to be paid as quickly as possible. At Kelly Services we can arrange for you to be paid by cheque, which can be cashed in city centre banks upon production of ID. It would be a good idea for you to open a bank account but you will first need to have proof of address and ID before the bank will assist you.
Benefits while working in the UK
You will qualify for 20 days (pro rata) paid holiday, which is calculated in compliance with government regulations. Other benefits include excellent rates of pay, free training and skill updating programmes, and statutory sick pay.
The UK has a lot to offer!
From the relaxing highlands of Scotland to the busy bustle of London, the UK has much to offer the world traveller. London is, of course, incomparable when it comes to tourist attractions, but the countryside and other UK cities are also steeped in history and culture, not to mention the night life!
